It’s almost time to kick off a new year of Religious School! This year, our Associate Rabbi and Educator, Alexis Pinsky, is leading our school, along with our amazing staff of accomplished instructors.
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the first day of Religious School with a kickoff breakfast at 9:15 am on Saturday, September 7th. You will have a chance to hear from Rabbi Pinsky, meet (or reacquaint yourself with) our teachers, and schmooze with your fellow parents and guardians while the children join their classes. Registration forms will be available at the event, or you can download a form at bshert.org/education — and this year we even have an online fillable form version!
Feel free to call or email the office if you have questions or concerns; a member of the Religious School committee will be happy to speak with you.
Welcome to the new B’ShERT site! We are glad to have it up and running.
Do you have suggestions, comments or contributions? Feel free to email webmaster@bshert.org — and if you’d like to join the website team or communications committee, so much the better!
(Especially helpful: if you see inadvertent references to one of our precursor congregations, Temple Beth Emeth v’Ohr Progressive Shaari Zedek or Progressive Temple Beth Ahavath Sholom, in non-historical contexts… give us a heads up.)

Our August 18th joint program with GSBC (the congregation that holds services in our sanctuary most Sundays) was a great success! Thanks to Wells Abellard for putting together this wonderful video commemorating the day.
